12 Days of Giving is essentially a spinoff of the 12 Days of Christmas. In December, people in various parts of the world spend 12 days participating in some form of a giveaway. I started participating in 12 Days of Giving in 2015 and feel so humbled and fulfilled each year that it continues to grow!
Christmas season is heavily saturated in the pressure of buying gifts for people or ourselves. Gift giving is a beautiful act of kindness, but ideally shouldn’t be caveated with financial stress or anxiety. My version of 12 Days of Giving includes volunteer work, donations, supporting small business, acts of kindness and random giveaways to social media participants. My goal is to get as many people as possible to join me. I’m hopeful to assist in filling others with gratitude and purpose instead of stress. The smile on less fortunate children’s faces when helping them paint their favorite pictures is reminder that the small things often matter the most. Those things may cost you next to nothing, particularly if you are simply volunteering! Let’s be impactful together. I’d love to chat about the various way you can get involved!
